We have contacted you because you submitted a resume to either Alex or Amy, or filled out our interest form at the Viz Industry Fair back in February. I hope this email finds you safe and healthy. Like many other companies during these times, AEM Creations has been greatly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Luckily, we were not hit as hard as some, but it did temporarily put a hold on our hiring quest. Now we are happy to announce that we are going to resume our search!

We are currently looking for contractors and interns. We would like to mention that due to the pandemic all work will be conducted remotely to ensure everyone's safety. What we're looking for

Considering it has been a while since the career fair, here is a refresher on what it is we do. We are a small business whose work focuses on building interactive experiences, creating animations for education and marketing, and producing various other visual media including graphic design and video production. Some of our current projects are dealing with web design, graphic design, XR experiences, and UI design.

Intern Requirements

This entry-level position is for those who are comfortable with Adobe Creative Cloud programs, 3D software such as Maya or Blender, a game engine like Unity or Unreal, or HTML/CSS/Javascript, and want to gain experience and build their portfolio. Interns will have opportunities to work on active internal and external projects that they will be able to showcase in their portfolio. Daily tasks would include configuring documents and projects, making assets, and collaborating on designs. Individuals with good communication, organization, and problem-solving are prefered.

Contractor Requirements

The requirements that we have for contractors are more complex and require more experience. We are looking for individuals who are confident in their craft and who are looking to gain experience, network, or to work on exciting projects. Contractors will be required to submit a w-9, and are responsible for providing their own equipment and software. Prospective projects will be presented in a scope-of-work format and will be governed by a Work for Hire Agreement as well as a Non-Disclosure Agreement on occasion, depending on the project.
